Charlestown Eyecare has been offering comprehensive optical care to locals and residents within the City of Lake Macquarie and Newcastle for more than 30 years.
The practice is now led by Dr Anneke Richards as our principal optometrist. Working alongside her is Dr Quan Nguyen, a therapeutically endorsed optometrist.

Our Services
We provide comprehensive eye examinations, including glaucoma and macular assessment, children’s behavioural evaluation and automated fields. We also assess and manage dry eye patients and are competent in fitting rigid and soft contact lenses. Finally, we often treat and manage eye injuries and infections. Krysta can prescribe topical antibiotics, antivirals and steroids when needed.
