Anneke Richards is a CASA-accredited and therapeutically endorsed optometrist. Her career began during a placement in New Zealand, where she first started seeing patients. Afterward, she made a permanent move to Tasmania, where she spent the next four years working in mainstream clinical practices, gaining experience with a diverse range of patients.

During her time in Tasmania, Anneke also provided outreach services to rural communities with limited or no access to optometry care. She has since continued her work across regional and rural Australia but now calls Newcastle home, having relocated permanently to be closer to her family.
